About Us

Jennifer M. Lee, RN, MSN, FNP

My passion is not only in Travel Medicine, but also in patient health promotion, disease management and prevention.  I have compassion to serve those who are in need, such as the underserved and the immigrant population.  As an immigrant myself, I personally know what it feels to not speak the country’s language or understand the culture.  I strive to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking the time to listen and understand their particular needs.  My true desire is to provide the utmost, positive care experience for those who are under my care.

I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive clinical experience in various areas.  My academic background includes a Master and Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, Bachelor Degree in Business and also a Fellowship in Liver Disease.  I am in the process of obtaining the Certification of Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers’ Health, and a Certificate in Travel Health by the International Society of Travel Medicine.  I also will be pursuing completing my Doctorate in Nursing Practice.

I began my health care career in my early twenties as a Phlebotomist.  Since that time, I have logged nearly twenty years of experience in various areas of patient care, which include Travel Medicine, Immunization, Liver Disease, and Diabetes Education.

My experience in Travel Medicine started when I worked for the Department of Health in the Immunization Department in the 1990s and continued as the charge person for the Queens Travel Clinic.  I also completed 17 hours of the Comprehensive Travel Medicine Review Course through the University of Southern California.
